🔑DPOE Mechanism Parameters

The Delegated Proof of Earn (DPoE) mechanism on the Roburna blockchain relies on a set of parameters to ensure fair participation, rewards distribution, and validator selection. This section outlines the key components that make up the DPoE system.

1. Validation Ranks 🏅

In the DPoE system, validators are categorized into three ranks based on the duration and amount of tokens they hold. These ranks determine eligibility and reward distribution.

Validation Criteria:

  • Rank 3: Hold 10,000 to 5 million tokens for at least 1 year.

  • Rank 2: Hold 10,000 to 5 million tokens for 6 months.

  • Rank 1: Hold 10,000 to 5 million tokens for 3 months.

The longer you hold a certain amount of tokens, the higher your rank, which leads to greater participation in the validation process.

2. Validator Selection Process 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

User-Initiated Selection: Validators who meet the rank criteria have the option to choose their validation amount, anywhere between 10,000 and 5 million tokens. This amount must be maintained in the user's wallet to retain their validation status.

Note: To remain in the DPoE system, validators must keep their token holdings above the threshold for their selected rank. If the token amount falls below the required level, the wallet will be deranked and revert to the initial “Zero Earning Phase.”

Validators can then gradually progress through the ranks by maintaining the necessary holding period and token amount.

3. DPoE Validator Reward System 💰

The reward distribution system is based on the rank of the validator. The higher the rank, the greater the share of rewards:

  • Rank 3: 60% of the reward pool

  • Rank 2: 30% of the reward pool

  • Rank 1: 10% of the reward pool

This incentivizes validators to maintain their token holdings and long-term participation in the Roburna blockchain.
