🔑DPOE Mechanism Parameters
The Delegated Proof of Earn (DPoE) mechanism on the Roburna blockchain relies on a set of parameters to ensure fair participation, rewards distribution, and validator selection. This section outlines the key components that make up the DPoE system.
1. Validation Ranks 🏅
In the DPoE system, validators are categorized into three ranks based on the duration and amount of tokens they hold. These ranks determine eligibility and reward distribution.
Validation Criteria:
Rank 3: Hold 10,000 to 5 million tokens for at least 1 year.
Rank 2: Hold 10,000 to 5 million tokens for 6 months.
Rank 1: Hold 10,000 to 5 million tokens for 3 months.
The longer you hold a certain amount of tokens, the higher your rank, which leads to greater participation in the validation process.
2. Validator Selection Process 🧑🤝🧑
User-Initiated Selection: Validators who meet the rank criteria have the option to choose their validation amount, anywhere between 10,000 and 5 million tokens. This amount must be maintained in the user's wallet to retain their validation status.
3. DPoE Validator Reward System 💰
The reward distribution system is based on the rank of the validator. The higher the rank, the greater the share of rewards:
Rank 3: 60% of the reward pool
Rank 2: 30% of the reward pool
Rank 1: 10% of the reward pool
This incentivizes validators to maintain their token holdings and long-term participation in the Roburna blockchain.
